Dr. Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree with specialized honors in Kinesiology from York University, and has since become a Registered Kinesiologist. He later graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He also holds certifications in Traditional Chinese medicine Acupuncture, First Aid & CPR, Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.), Functional Range Release (FR), and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), and Postrual Restoration (P.R.I.)
His unique approach utilizes biomechanical diagnosis to dissect one’s movement into simple pieces to identify limitations, inefficiencies, or faults that may be interfering with physical activities and everyday tasks, or may be the root cause of dysfunction and pain. His eclectic treatment style focuses on patient education and awareness, as well as, the use of Diversified Chiropractic and other techniques including soft tissue and joint mobilizations. To compliment his manual care, Dr. Rob teaches therapeutic movements to alleviate symptoms and improve movement performance, paying particular attention to the correction of static and dynamic postures associated with occupational and physical activities. His treatments are conservative and his recommendations are patient-focused and evidence based.
He continues to act as resource for athlete management of sport injuries for the Youth Soccer, baseball, and martial arts clubs, and continues to provide successful treatment outcomes to amateur, collegiate, and professional level athletes within Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Brampton, and Toronto Communities. Dr. Rob takes special interest in the management of soccer, martial arts, and powerlifting athletes, as those are among his own favourite activities. Whether he’s treating an NHL hopeful, a mom, or an executive, Dr. Rob encourages his clients to become active partners with their doctors in setting and meeting healthier lifestyle and treatment goals, and performing at their chosen activity to the best of their abilities.
