Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is a holistic approach to healthcare that emphasizes the use of natural remedies and the body’s ability to heal itself. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) work to identify and treat the underlying causes of illness, rather than just treating symptoms. Naturopathic medicine can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including chronic diseases, mental health issues, and injuries. It is important because it offers patients a comprehensive, personalized approach to healthcare that addresses the whole person, rather than just treating a specific condition or symptom. Additionally, naturopathic medicine can often be used as a complement to conventional medical treatments, helping to improve overall health and well-being.

What to expect during your first visit:

Your first naturopathic visit is mainly to gather information about your goals and primary concerns. It is not uncommon for the first visit to be entirely an intake. We will do our best to cover all key information in order to develop a proper, individualized plan for your concerns. If indicated, a preliminary treatment protocol will follow the intake portion of your first visit. After the visit, you will receive an outline of what is to follow (i.e testing, treatment, and monitoring parameters). Services are offered for both adults and pediatrics.
